I have always found the upper range of Shimano chains 100% reliable and with care, very long lasting. E-TUBE PROJECT This does the job and has never failed on me in five years. I'm currently using two of these with my own paraffin wax and graphite mixture, after 7,500 kms per chain they still measure perfect length wise with my ruler but started to develop enough lateral play to affect shifting.
